I am writing to express extreme concern with the industrial wind turbine development planned for Greenbrier County (PSC case # 05-1590-E-CN) . [For more prominence stress a specific point of concern, such as noise, vibration, decreased property values, habitat destruction, erosion of the mountaintop, loss of tourism revenue, etc.]

Wind turbine projects destroy important wildlife and habitat (including endangered species), kill huge volumes of birds and bats, destroy highly prized scenic vistas, and impact local tourism-dependent economies along with lowering property values. [Consider copying and pasting into your letter material to be found on various web sites that relates to a concern of yours.]

With renewal of the federal tax credit for wind power projects, I am certain that industrial wind developers will move quickly on construction. To protect public interest and adequately address important and as yet unstudied impacts, I request that you do what you can to delay implementation of new projects in West Virginia until the Federal GAO study is completed and responsible site provisions can be established.

Thank you for your efforts to protect our beautiful mountains and local economies from destructive wind power projects. Our mountain tops are too valuable to us as is to be sacrificed for dubious energy benefit and incredible corporate profit.

Please also keep me informed of your thinking on this topic and what suggestions you may have for keeping Greenbrier County free from these property-value-damaging industrial wind turbines.

Sincerely,
